急性支气管炎和慢性支气管炎急性发作:肺炎链球菌、流感嗜血杆菌(包括产β-内酰胺酶菌株)、副流感嗜血杆菌(包括产β-内酰胺酶菌株)、卡它莫拉菌(包括产β-内酰胺酶菌株)和金黄色葡萄球菌所致。
咽炎、扁桃体炎;由化脓性链球菌(A组链球菌)所致。(青霉素一般为治疗和预防链球菌感染的选择药物,包括风湿热的预防。虽然头孢克洛缓释片通常能够有效地清除口咽部的链球菌:但并无足够的资料证实头孢克洛缓释片可预防风湿热发作)。
